The PTA Rewards Card will give your members and supporters access to more than 250,000 retail offers, including over 400 national brands. Discounts of up to 50% off shopping, dining, golf, movies, travel, and so much more are available for some of the world's most recognizable brands. The cost of the card is $20 plus shipping and handling ($2.99). The proceeds of the $20 are split between National, State and Local PTA's. National has determined the splits as of right now its 25% to local, 25% to State and 50% to National however they are still trying to decide if that is what will work best. The card is active for 1 year and we send out a renewal notice approximately 6 weeks prior to the renewal and we have them go online or send a cheque to renew. Then we send your local their split again so it becomes a residual fundraiser for you! Our renewal % with the card is 89%!

                                                                                    

There are a couple very easy ways to start the fundraising process: 1. A membership drive, encouraging all members to support and purchase a PTA Rewards Card and enjoy the savings; 2. An email drive. On the website www.ptarewardscard.org under fundraising we do have an email template that you and your members can use to send out information to their family, friends, and colleagues on the rewards card, how to purchase and a sale blitz can be done in a 5 minute email which will create huge dollars for state and local units. It will be a very easy fundraising program for you to run. 3. And a pre-sale campaign. I have attached the email template and the presale order form. The key to this program being successful is working with your team and your local units. This is a way to raise revenue each year for both State and locals without having to increase membership costs. I would love to help you raise money while also giving your members and supporters access to enjoy the savings their PTA Rewards Card offers. I have also attached a brochure for you to have on the program. Another source of revenue that you can create is doing a pre-sale and your region will be responsible for distributing the cards, we will charge a bulk shipping of $50 and the region keeps the $2.99 shipping and handling fee for immediate revenue. So for example a district in California that I'm working with has 25,000 members in their district so the district could make $75,000 for running the program. It is also a really great way to build membership base because it is a great value add, for the $20 if they use it twice they have their money back! 

 

We also have created a contest to create excitement that will encourage people to support their local PTA unit. We are doing a draw for $10,000 to be donated to a local PTA. For all cards purchased we will draw an individuals name and the $10,000 will be donated to their local PTA. So the more cards sold to your members and supporters the better chance to win the $10,000.
